Making and Digital Marketing of Traditional Jamu
Abstract
Traditional medicine, especially jamu, plays a crucial role in supporting the health of Indonesian communities. The community engagement program conducted by the Pharmacy Study Program at Universitas Setia Budi responds to the need for information regarding traditional jamu preparation and digital marketing strategies, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic that limits physical interactions. Through webinars using Zoom, this program successfully attracted 300 participants, achieving the set target. Participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and active engagement in discussions, showing a strong interest in the topics presented by the speakers. The activity provided insights into traditional jamu preparation and digital marketing strategies for the participants. The material was delivered by experienced and skilled speakers in the field. Additionally, the program awarded 2 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points from the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) to the participants. In conclusion, this webinar made a positive contribution to enhancing understanding of traditional jamu and digital marketing amidst the pandemic. The positive response from participants reaffirms the importance of such efforts in promoting public health and supporting the digital development of the traditional jamu industry.
