Abstract

The village of Sukosari, located in the Jumantono District, Karanganyar, Central Java Province, serves as the center for the Real Work Lecture (KKN) program of the Setia Budi University in Surakarta. Covering an area consisting of 3 sub-villages and 2 hamlets, Sukosari has developed various facilities and programs such as toddler and elderly integrated health posts (posyandu), religious activities, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in cricket farming. However, participation in sports activities remains low. The implementation method of KKN involves various activities such as parenting style socialization, Quranic education, community group exercises, integrated health posts, community service, literacy, and cricket cracker production. Despite facing challenges such as equipment readiness and community participation, effective team collaboration ensures the success of the program. The results of KKN show positive impacts despite facing various obstacles. Good interaction with the community and solid teamwork are key to the program's success. In this context, KKN serves as a platform for students to contribute to improving community welfare. In conclusion, the KKN program in the Sukosari Village provides valuable experience for students and direct benefits for the local community. Enthusiastic support from the community is the main key to the success of this program.
