Abstract

Tasikmalaya Regency in West Java has been prioritized for stunting interventions, with Sukahening District as one of the focus areas. In July 2022, data from Sukahening Health Center reported a stunting rate of 22.65%, with Banyurasa Village at 21.85%. Factors contributing to stunting include poor clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS), inadequate birth spacing, suboptimal parenting, inappropriate breastfeeding and complementary feeding (MP-ASI), infectious diseases, and socio-cultural influences. This program aimed to empower Posyandu cadres and mothers to apply PHBS and prepare MP-ASI from local ingredients to reduce malnutrition, especially stunting and micronutrient deficiencies. Methods included counseling using B4S educational media (Playing, Learning, PHBS, Stunting Free), practical MP-ASI preparation, and knowledge assessment through questionnaires. Activities were conducted in collaboration with health workers and cadres. Results showed increased maternal knowledge and skills in PHBS and MP-ASI preparation, enhancing toddler nutrition and motivating mothers to improve child feeding practices
