Abstract

The Community Service Learning (CSL) program at Setia Budi University in Surakarta represents an embodiment of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, emphasizing community engagement and active involvement in environmental development. This study is centered on activities conducted in Jatirejo Village, Karanganyar Regency, aimed at empowering local resources and human capital in the region. The implementation methodology encompasses a spectrum of initiatives, including Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Post), educational outreach, support for Quranic education schools (TPQ), immunization campaigns, communal work, Ecoprint production, primary school engagement, senior citizen fitness sessions, and a variety of supplementary endeavors such as aiding traditional bread, herbal medicine, and tempeh producers, as well as contributing to kindergarten screenings and participating in early childhood education. Despite potential challenges during implementation, the CSL programs have been effectively executed with robust community support and active engagement. Moreover, the positive interactions between students and the community have fostered greater awareness regarding the significance of healthy living and well-being amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. It is anticipated that the comprehensive CSL activities will not only enrich students' learning experiences but also yield tangible benefits for the local community, particularly in enhancing quality of life and instilling new norms for clean and healthy living amidst the ongoing pandemic.
