This study aims to understand how students interpret and develop their academic self-efficacy in preparing for their careers as psychologists. The research employed a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Participants were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of three active professional psychology students who were undergoing the LPPPU program. Data were collected through primary and secondary sources, semi-structured interviews, and analyzed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The findings show that participants demonstrated strong academic self-efficacy across four aspects: self-engagement, self-oriented decision-making, other-oriented problem-solving, and interpersonal climate. These results indicate that academic self-efficacy plays an essential role in learning persistence, emotional regulation, collaboration, and readiness to meet practice demands. This study contributes to the development of professional psychology curricula by emphasizing the strengthening of academic self-efficacy as a foundation for academic and career readiness.

2025-12-11T11:40:53+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejurnal.setiabudi.ac.id/ojs/index.php/psikohumanika/article/view/2773SELF-CONFIDENCE DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL ORANG TUA SEBAGAI PREDIKTOR PERENCANAAN KARIER2025-12-11T10:07:57+00:00Ni Nyoman Putri Pradnyandari[email protected]I Gde Dhika Widarnandana[email protected]Diah Widiawati Retnoningtias[email protected]
The variety of majors and jobs in the modern era requires students to plan their careers optimally. The optimality of students' career planning is thought to be predicted by self-confidence and parental social support. This study aims to determine the role of self-confidence and parental social support in predicting career planning among twelfth grade high school students. The research method used is a quantitative method with data analysis using multiple linear regression. The sample consists of 190 twelfth grade high school students in Denpasar, aged 16 to 19 years old. The sampling technique used is quota sampling. Data collection employed a self-confidence scale, a parental social support scale, and a career planning scale. The results of this study showed the p-value <0,001, indicating that self-confidence and parental social support can predict career planning among twelfth grade high school students. The contribution of self-confidence and parental social support to career planning was 53,8%, with a positive direction of the relationship and a strong correlation (R = 0,733). This study provides information that increasing self-confidence and parental social support can optimize career planning among twelfth grade high school students.
2025-12-11T10:03:58+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejurnal.setiabudi.ac.id/ojs/index.php/psikohumanika/article/view/2888FAKTOR FAKTOR DEMOGRAFI DAN RESILENSI: POTRET IBU YANG MEMILIKI ANAK AUTOIMUN2025-12-11T09:38:51+00:00Rosita Yuniati[email protected]Setiasih Setiasih[email protected]Andrian Pramadi[email protected]
Resilience among mothers of children with autoimmune diseases plays a critical role in caregiving, given the central position of mothers in supporting both the psychological and physical well-being of their children. Although previous studies have indicated that demographic factors may influence resilience, specific investigations focusing on mothers of children with autoimmune diseases in Indonesia remain limited. This study aims to examine the relationship between demographic factors and resilience levels within this population. A quantitative approach with a survey design and purposive sampling was employed, involving 131 mothers whose children had received a clinical diagnosis of an autoimmune disorder. Data were collected using a resilience scale and a demographic questionnaire assessing maternal age, educational level, employment status, socioeconomic status, marital status, total number of children, number of children with autoimmune conditions, type of autoimmune disease, and community involvement. Results indicated that mothers’ resilience levels ranged from moderate to high. Correlation analyses revealed that maternal age, residential status, and the number of children with autoimmune conditions were significantly associated with resilience, whereas other factors such as education and household income showed no significant influence. These findings underscore the importance of considering demographic context and family-specific circumstances when designing resilience enhancing strategies. In particular, fostering social networks, community support systems, and a supportive caregiving environment may play a crucial role in strengthening maternal resilience. This study contributes to the development of demographically informed interventions aimed at improving maternal psychological well-being and parenting quality in families affected by childhood autoimmune diseases.
2025-12-11T09:38:49+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejurnal.setiabudi.ac.id/ojs/index.php/psikohumanika/article/view/2813PERAN PERCEIVED WORKLOAD TERHADAP WORK ENGAGEMENT PADA KARYAWAN PT ”XYZ”2025-12-11T09:06:31+00:00Stefani Wadyatama[email protected]Endang Widyastuti[email protected]Patria Mukti[email protected]
Employees are a very important and necessary resource in the company. Companies need human resources with high work engagement to survive and not experience setbacks. Excessive task demands are one of the factors that form workload. Workload that is too high can cause a lack of work engagement in employees. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between perceptions of workload and work engagement in employees of PT “XYZ”. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a negative relationship between perceptions of workload and work engagement in employees of PT “XYZ”. The method used in this research is correlational quantitative method, while the sampling is done using saturated sampling technique. The subjects in this study amounted to 110 employees who work actively at PT “XYZ”. Analysis of research data using Product Moment correlation from Karl Pearson. The results of the research data analysis showed there was a correlation of (rxy) 0.210 with p = 0.014 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of workload and work engagement, thus this research hypothesis is rejected.
2025-12-11T09:06:29+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
