PENGEMBANGAN ALAT UKUR PSIKOLOGI : SOCIAL ANXIETY SCALE FOR ADOLESCENTS
Abstract
This study aimed to adapt and evaluate the psychometric properties of the Adolescents Social Anxiety Scale (SAS-A) within the Indonesian cultural context. The study involved 205 adolescents aged 12–20, collected through offline and online methods. The adaptation process included translation, cultural modification of items, and validity and reliability testing. The validity analysis of this study uses Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Based on this analysis, this measuring instrument shows several good fit indices such as CFI, GFI, and Chi-square. The reliability score reached a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.887, indicating high reliability. In conclusion, this scale is valid and reliable for assessing adolescent social anxiety in Indonesia, though further revisions are needed for certain items. This research contributes significantly to the development of culturally relevant assessment tools to support early intervention.
